GIRL: A DOCUMENTARY

Originally starting off as an intern within BrightStar, I got the chance to work in the writing department for the documentary.

I provided my skills with story structure by developing storylines that properly showed the immediate and long-term effects of drugs, sexual abuse, and violence in American youth culture., I was able to freely contribute my voice and develop the tools necessary to further the film.

The biggest lesson from this project was while creating an engaging story that explains the motives of people, one has to be cognizant that these are real people and that the stories one tells, create ripples across many lives.
