ECLIPSE CHASING

Scheduled and Planned shooting schedule for a day-time and night-time shoot. Assisted in scene set up and actor prep.

In another shoot that had the time of day restrictions, I had the added challenge of scheduling around sunset and dusk. Decked on top of that was a fantastic dramatic script which meant that every take had to count and every shot had to be perfect. Luckily we had actors with impeccable Father-Daughter chemistry who made shooting a true breeze. During the titular shot and climax of the short, we had to develop an artificial eclipse during dusk as seen in the cover photo of this page. To deliver this I managed the shots leading up to the scene and directed stand-by PA's to assemble the poles, screens, and lights involved in creating the effect.
